There is only 1 speaker on the bottom of the phone. The other speaker looking part is a microphone.

Sound comes in strong and weak at different times

It could be that or a loose wire to one side of the speakers in the set. If it does it often enough locate where the actual sound for each side of the set is located---when it does it get close and listen---if one side is low or distorted you know it is either a connection or speaker on that side OR since most sets have a left and right channel for sound--the issue is in one side.(circuit problem)

Phone will not ring, only vibrates even tho I use the side volumn control to choose ring volume one, or two, or three or four, or five. None work to make it ring

Hello

The reason your phone isnt ringing out is because the speaker of your phone is faulty.

The sounds made by your phone(including the ringing tone) is heard through the speaker and once it is faulty, you will not hear any sound coming from your phone.

The only solution is to have your speaker replaced.

Cheers

No sound

You are missing a sound driver for your computer, please check in your "device manager" by right clicking on "my computer", select properties then "device manager" and see if there are any "exclamation marks in yellow" under sounds. If there are, go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer and search for the driver.... Hope this works! good luck!! p.s I know this sounds a simple suggestion, but the sound is not muted is it? check in the bottom right hand corner of the taskbar :)

I can hear a loud rumbling sound when i turn my laptop on.

Sounds like one of three things... A CD not seated correctly... 2 internal Fan maybe bad or 3 your Hard Drive could be failing.

Make sure you have a back up... use a thumb drive i you can... faster.

If it is the HD then the noice would change as you are doing tasks. As its working it will change tunes.

A Fan may stop and start... there is a fan vent at the side or bottom of the laptop... see if it is coming from there.

Music sounds great!.But the entering calls sound horrible,Ican't

The volume setting on your phone affects the volume as well. Turn the phone up more. If this has already been tried or does not work the keep reading. I believe the call sound comes only through a front speaker (maybe the right front...not sure but I can check on this). If the music seems like it sounds good (with all the speakers) there might be a slim chance that the one speaker that plays the call is not working well. Use the fader and balance setting to switch to each speaker one by one and play sound through it (preferably a commercial with people speaking). See if one of the front speakers is blown or at least does not sound good for voice. This would mean replacing a speaker front set.

I can't get my speaker to work

If it's not an issue w/ your speaker it self (can you hear on the phone? But, just can't hear the sound effects?), it is probably an issue with your sound profile. Go in the main menu and look for the speaker looking icon. Click on it and then click on the "loud" profile. If it still does not make sounds, you may have make sure that the profile is set up right by going into the sound profile menu and then hitting "advanced" at the bottom of the profile selections. You can see all the different settings for each function (e.g. email sound) on the phone. Make sure you don't have anything set to silent or vibrate.

Hope this helps,
Bill

Motorola Adventure 750 phone-- no speaker sound. Why?

You've probably already tried these, but what the heck; you asked...
1) Check in MENU -> SETTINGS & TOOLS -> SOUND SETTINGS -> CALL SOUNDS -> CALL RINGTONE to make sure that you have actually selected a ringtone instead of the "No Ring" option at the bottom.
2) With the phone open, try the up/down buttons on the left-hand side of the phone (above the Push-To-Talk button) to make sure that your volume isn't set to "All Sounds Off," "Alarm Only," or "Vibrate Only." It has to be at least at "Low" before a ringtone will play.
Hope this helps. If not, you probably need to take it in to a Verizon store for an expert assessment; they'll usually take a look at your phone and install any software updates for free.

Flip up ear speaker stopped working

Sounds like the ear piece connection between the two halves of the phone has been broken. Your "speaker phone" function should still work because the sound comes from the back of the main body of the phone. To the best of my knowledge, this can't be fixed. You will need a new phone. I hope this helps.
