Hi,
The toll free number to contact Xbox Live customer service is: (800) 4MY-XBOX which is the same as (800) 469-9269

It could be as simple as the video cables. Get another set of cables and try it. You can get them pretty cheap on auction sites. IF that dont work then I would say your headed for the 3 red lights or no video problem. If thats the case then check with ms and see if your still under warranty. If not we can help. We are registered repair service on this site. thanks www.videogamerepairservice.com
it way be that your modem and/or router does not recognize the ethernet cord. the contacts on either the cord or port might be fried. try plugging the xbox cord into the laptop port if the laptop is hooked up by cord or try using a wireless adapter for your xbox if the wireless seems to work fine with your laptop.
I can help you fix your xbox but i need the service code number in the top corner of the screen suggesting servicing. You can email me at [email protected]
Maybe it's a bad video port on your TV. Try hooking it up on another video port on the TV. I've had this same problem because the front video port on my TV was bad. I hooked it up in the back port of the TV and it worked.
The only way to see video files from the comp on the 360 is to stream the files
You can do this only if u got Windows Media Center
And if so the only formats it plays are:
, DVR-MS, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 WMV
So if you want to see movies in other formats you got to convert them first
Good luck
problam can be with cable, screen, or xbox. try replacing cable first, it is the cheapest and therefore can save you alot of pain. if another cable doesnt solve it, try hooking xbox with another screem (TV or something), if it works, its a screen problem - check for overheating. if it doesnt, you got yourself a messed xbox im afraid.
