White dotted lines on screen of NES

I just replaced my 72 pin connector. The nintendo does work, however, there are tons of vertical white dotted lines on my screen? What is going on?? What else could be wrong?

Clean your games too once you replace the 72 pin connector or you're just dirtying it up again. Not to mention the games has enough crud to keep them from working correctly.

Secret trick: take NES cartridge, press cartridge down and waggle the cartridge inside the NES and then hold the NES down and shove the cartridge onto the pins. An alternate solution is to take a Q tip, dip it in rubbing alcohol and clean out all the dust inside your game.

There is a 72 pin cartridge slot inside the NES that wears over time, I believe replacing this should correct the problem. You can pick one up for about 5 bucks.

NES two thick dotted vertical lines on screen

Well I think that the rf switch is causing this problem so use the NES av cable to see if it makes a difference then.

Why do I have vertical white lines when I put any game into the NES system? Games will play but lines are annoying!

thats cause your connector is going bad probably. to verify this, instead of using the RF connector, use the a/v cables and if you get white lines either way then you know the connector inside of the NES needs to be changed.
