You need to reset the file-numbering.
Turn mode-dial to Set and turn on the camera. Select Frame No. from the setup menu. Switch Frame No. to Renew. Press OK. Format the card (also from the Setup Menu) After formatting, select Frame No. againg and switch to Cont. File numbers will now start from 100.0001 again

It sounds like the memory card got corrupted. If the memory card shows no files, there are no files. I'm sorry, but they're gone. Are you SURE the pictures aren't on your computer? Most cameras delete the pictures AFTER it copies them to your computer.
its a common problem, the phone memory gets filled up quickly, 1st you have to format the phone memory then this problem can be solved but make sure to change the message storage memory to memory card instead of phone memory, otherwise this problem will occur again.
Switch-off your phone. 1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show! 2. The internal memory is the memory built into the camera, not the memory you put in with a memory card. This internal memory is rather small. If it is completely full, it will stop your camera working even with an empty memory card.
Take the card out of the camera, and delete some of the photos on the internal memory before you put it back in.
