Samsung dishwasher makes a loud buzzing sound when the water is filling. It pulses a couple times to start then is constant. It pulses again right before the wash cycle. Comes from the bottom left.

This is common. The noise is coming from the water pump. If it bothers you, you can try UNPLUGGING the washer or turn off the Circuit breaker first. Then you can remove the bottom kickplate on the front of the washer and clean around the pump. If there is a water filter scree, clean it out. Make sure there is nothing rubbing against the pump which could cause a buzz. Tighten all fittings and screws to eliminate vibration noise.

My lgis making a horrible noise and is now shoeing an e1 code dishwasher

The LG does suffer from "poor quality" motor that causes this type of noise. The main motor and pump assembly is common to give this type of problem. The pump seal leaks a small amount of water that gets onto the front bearing and causes a "grinding = humming" noise. This can be easly replaced once you have the bottom off and dishwasher on its door. The motoe has 1 screw in the back holding the motor to the bottom and two rubber seals for the water pump in/out into the washer. Just pull and move motor and pump assmbly and it comes free. Replace with a new motor and pump assembly...

My Bosch diswasher SL15N1B has started to make a knocking noise from the mains water valve at the end of the hose. Why should this start to happen as the machine has not been moved so it is not the lay of...

there is a screen filter in the hose end where it attaches to the supply valve. this is usually under your sink. turn off the water valve and undo the supply hose ( usually gray on a bosch). pull out the rubber washer, and then remove the filter. clean and reinstall it. the noise is usually due to the sediment in the filter causing the water pressure to fall. you can hear the fill valves flutter when it is trying to take water in.

Dishlex global 500 dishwasher says ''of '' . It will not stop making weird noises. I Have had to turn it off at the wall.

Hi there.this is (over fill error). It has over filled & flooded water down into the base.It has tripped a flood switch in the base wich turns the drain pump on even though the washer is off.You can simply try tipping the washer to get the water out or you will need to disassemble the front kick panel at the bottom front to mop out the water. The switch will reset after you do this.Or wait a couple of days and the water will evaporate enough that the pumping will have stopped & the washer should work again. The booklet for your washer has water hight level settings in it.Sometimes someone leans against the washer and presses the buttons wich changes the water level to high & thats why this has probably happened in the first place. It may need setting to a lower level.

The washer will not wash

I have the same problem as of yesterday May 1, 2010. I can move the water pump on the bottom and it comes on and begins to wash but it acts like it is in a bind. I tried to check to see if something was in it but i could find anything that might hang it up.

The fill valve has failed. You can get a rebuild kit for the valve.

Also clean the tiny straainer in the valve.

Dishwasher is leaking water. Water is puddling

There is a tube on the side of your dishwasher for over flow. It sounds to me like your washer was moved and it banged against that line. You can put some caulking around where it enters the washer and that should be fine. The bottom can be several things. If your washer was removed and reinstalled like say maybe floor installation the supply line, or waste line may not be tight. If your unit has not been moved recently it is most likely the motor housing. Take off the one or two covers on the front bottom of the washer. Place the washer through the cycles and with a flashlight see at what cycle and where the water is coming from. It it appears to be coming from the white housing it's the motor. It's cheaper to just replace the unit as these motor housings are around $150.00. Check out craigslist. Hope this helps.

Doesnt clean dishes, seems to be no water coming into machine

There should be about 2 inches of water in the bottom of the DW.  If it is filling but not washing the pump may be bad.  That might explain the loud noise (motor bearing).  I assume that the detergent cover is opening but no water is being sprayed to dissolve it.

It just the pump noise. Since your dishwasher works properly you can ignore this noise.
