Question about Motorola Mobility SLVR L7 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Hi there where to begin...I'm i Puerto Rico and I have a sliver, with Claro. I connect dial up at a rocking 21 kbps. My phone service man can connect here using his cell phone at 230 and I'm looking to do the same. What do I need to do. Claro can connect me, here comes the interesting part: (at leat to me). I know I need a USB, and some softwear. How can I get that software and the cable? Radio Shack here of course doesn't have it. And I'm probably getting half the info. Can you advise please about what, and how I can get it, thanks. Marlene

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am in San Juan Puerto Rico and do not have any service? SOS on Nextel Blackberry? Is there aything I can do? 774-292-1093

Yes you can switch to Sprint. Sprint coverage in PR is excellent because it is a CDMA frequency carrier. Nextel is a iDen frequency carrier and only works in US and some South American Countries.

No 3G network using it with claro carrier

The reason your Vibrant wont get 3g with Claro in Puerto Rico, is because T Mobile broadcasts their 3G at 1700Mhz, and Claro does at 1800Mhz, like AT&T. T Mobile phones cant receive the 1800Mhz signal, so you will never be able to get 3G on T Mobile phones, unless you use T Mobile. You must get the T Mobile phones, as unbranded international phones, to be able to get 3G with Claro and AT&T.

Connecting my L7 to my computer

You need the USB cable made for that phone and a copy of "Motorola Phone Tools". Both are available on Ebay. Then the phone can be used as a modem.

Hope that helps...
