Question about HP (407576-001) 802.11a/g/b Wireless Adapter
On my hp laptop my wireless internet isn't working. It works for all other devices in my home. Is this a hardware issue or a driver issue?

With the provided information - nothing could be concluded with regards to where the issue is.. however try the below steps .. this should work
Step 1 :
> click on start (assuming it to be a windows OS)
> right click on "my computer" and select "Properties"
> you will have the system Properties window pop-up
> under the Hardware tab, click on Device manager button
> under the device manager list look for network adapters
> you should now be able to see your wireless card under network adapter - check if the adapter is enabled ( if not kindly enable by right clicking on the adapter)
> once the adapter is active - it will have a green icon with not error on it.
> close all the windows opened till now
Step 2 :
> click on start
> Select Run - new window will pop-up
> type "Services.msc" - new window pops up
> scroll down to the bottom of the list
> right click on "Wireless Zero Configuration" and Start (if not already started)/Restart the service.
> now close all the windows and search for wireless networks again
you should be able to find it

Depending on what kind of laptop you have, some of them have a button that will turn the wireless connection and and off. Check that first. Also look on the lower right side of your screen for a little computer icon with what looks like a signal goint out to the side. That will tell you whether you have any wireless connection. Let me know what you find and we will look more places if necessary.
