For no known reason the setup is now gone when we get ready to do another presentation. Now we have to go through the menu and reset the brightness, etc, everytime we do another presentation. Have never had this problem before, we use the same computer, connection, screen, location, etc.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If the temperature reached at it operating temperature and oven display doesn't showing how much time left for ready screen then most probably its IO board gone.
I have seen many cases like this, and replacing IO Board fixed the problem.
Sounds like one of the buffer boards has gone.
BEFORE YOU TAKE MY ADVICE PLEASE BE AWARE VERY HIGH VOLTAGE INSIDE, IN SOME SETS 2,000 VOLTS DC.
you will need to turn set off for 2 hours before any work is carried out.
as you look at the back on the bottom are 2 or 3 sets of long thin boards, one of them is gone.
either change one at a time or the whole lot.
hope this helps. Panasonic TH 46PZ80B Half picture with distortion Diagnosis and Repair
Yes, they have other than convergence circuit problems----very few issues or troubles.
You should test the shops by asking if they have the 4 digit code number for this model for the OPTION MENU---set has 3 hidden menus and OPTION menu will allow a hard reset of entire set---the other two menus are adjustment and convergence menus.
If some shop has no idea what the option menu is----pass them.
Turn your computer off.
Turn your computer on.
When you see: press <blah> to enter BIOS SETUP,
press the <blah> key.
Use the arrow-keys to navigate through the BIOS SETUP menu
to the "DISK DRIVES" (or something like that) item, and press ENTER to select that item.
You probably have one disk-drive "manually" defined that either:
* no longer physically is present or connected,
* no longer is responding to queries
Set that device to 'AUTO' or 'NONE'.
Save/Exit from BIOS SETUP, and restart your computer.
The message should be gone.
From the menu select setup,
then select tuning band, make sure that is set to AIR not CABLE, next select AUTO CHANNEL SEARCH. If any signals are present it should find them. Let me know what you find, I am also an expert in OTA over the air tv reception. Please rate this solution. lone99star
If the convergence is out on that set you most likely do not need to make an adjustment the circuit will need to be repaired. There is a stk on the convergence amp board that needs to be replaced. A good tv shop will run you somewhere between $300-$500 to do the repair
by the convergence menu i would assume you mean in the customer setup menu. although i have seen this at the shop on newer itc222 i guess it can happen with older sets...is the convergence gone...is it red green and blue.. if not it might be cut off in the service alignment menu...if that is true. how did it get cut off. has the set been worked on?
