If you still have the packaging and or manual for this web cam check with those to make sure that it is compatible with your computer. Window 7 is great with older technology but it can't always detect the right software for certain products. If the camera came with driver software try installing that often more times than not the installation software will notify you if your product is not compatible with the computer. I you don't have the software for the web cam you can go onto the logictech support page and they have a great out detect search function. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads
1. uninstall the software 2.restart your computer 3. re install the software 4. rightclick on mycomputer,then properties,then hardware,then device manager,double click on the imaging devices 5.if any yellow color pointed icon appears on any devices, then right click,diable or uninstall it 6.selec ACTION from the top menu bar and select hardware changes. 7.it will detect and install other supporting drivers.

Go to logitechs website, click on the model number of your cam and download the latest drivers for your operating system and install. The non web cam connection is the server yahoo is useing, Hope this helps.
