Question about Dryers
Older model Kenmore Gas Dryer Model 97283100 Stock 72831-- The dryer stopped working, and when I pressed the start button nothing is happening. I am thinking it may be the fuse, but am not sure where the fuse is located. Does anyone know where the fuse is located? Is this something I can fix myself?
A mom in direstraits :)
Its a thermal fuse open up the back make sure you unplug it and turn off the gas its on your lower left side of your blower housing its skinny and white and about a inch in a half long and has 2 connectors going to it if any problems let me know

Tips for a great answer:
Item #2986 (OEM Part)
Thermal fuse. If the dryer overheats, this device stops the flow of electricity to the heat source and/or the entire dryer. It is located on the blower housing and cannot be reset. The most common cause for overheating is a vent tube clogged with lint, a birds nest or other debris.
