You need to get their server ids from their website, under support and email settings..

Just set it up at comcast and have the new account there fetch the emails from the old account automatically. Just call comcast and ask them to help you set it up.

Can't use either Microsoft Live Mail or Lookout Express v6 with Belkin Router. Can't send or receive email Can you tell me what the email setup is for either one? Both email programs probably use the same...

Ask COMCAST for the names of their POP-server and of their MAIL-server, and configure Outlook Express to use those names.

Microsoft Live Mail is "web-based" -- all you need to do is to web-surf to their web-site, login, and click "send/receive" or click "compose" and later "send".

I have windows vista 64 and all of a sudden I can't send out e-mails and I tried support but no help then I tried live chat can't get in saying i have no smtp

At the beginning of September Windows Live changed the protocol for sending emails from http to pop3 so you need to reconfigure your account in your email client.see links below

Have you loaded something recently that could have messed with your ports? Yahoo or Google tool bar or other similar app?

I have comcast and my email won't send dial up pops up

I'm guessing that you computer is configured for a dail-up connection when you want to establish a dsl/cable connection?

Try to configure your email program, (Outlook Express?), with comcast, their is usually information your provider must give to you to set up your email.

If you haven't any internet connection through comcast at all, try going to Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Network Set-Up Wizard, then follow the on-screen instructions, selecting that you have a connection that is on at all times.

WHEN TAKING A STILL PICTURE ON THE WEB CAM IT ASKS IF I WANT TO SEND IT AS AN ATTACHMENT.I OK THIS IT SET UP AS AN ATTACHMENT ON MY EMAIL WHEN I GO EMAIL IT COME UP POP3 SERVER CANNOT BE FOUND

if in outlook express.... go to accounts andenter your pop3 server address, for instance if you have comcast, it would be pop.comcast.com and the smtp would be smtp.comcast.com pop stands for post office protocal it is for outgoing email and smtp is for incoming email. good luck.
