SOURCE: FREEZER SECTION WORKING OK, FRIDGE SECTION NOT WORKING

Check the vents of your fridge side if present, if no air then may be your blower not working or some ice formation that blocks the air(try defrosting). Check also your vents for obstruction or overloaded with stocks.

SOURCE: Faulty Fridge freezer

I suspect you may have a faulty compressor! Do you notice if the compressor starts?

Miele KFN 12823 SD1 Index 20K 164 evaporator sensor location

The error code you are experiencing on your Miele KFN 12823 SD1 with four beeps and flashing of the super freeze LED, along with the 9 and 5 LEDs on the fridge temperature block, is indicating a problem with the fridge evaporator sensor. This sensor is responsible for monitoring the temperature inside the fridge compartment and is located in the fridge section.
According to the service manual, the evaporator sensor for your model is located inside the fridge compartment, behind the light unit and it can be accessed by removing the light cover. The sensor is connected to the main control board via a cable.
It's important to note that the location of the sensor can vary depending on the specific model. In your case, since the sensor seems not to be behind the light unit, it could be that it is foamed-in.
If you want to replace the sensor, you will need to carefully remove the foam insulation in order to access the sensor. This can be a delicate process and it's important to be careful not to damage the insulation, which can affect the cooling efficiency of the fridge.
It's recommended to have a professional technician to help you with the replacement, as it might involve handling with refrigerant and electrical connections.
It's also important to make sure that you have the correct replacement sensor for your model and to follow the instructions in the service manual to ensure a proper installation.

Light doesn't come on on front panel

It sounds as if the bulb has burned out and you need to replace it. It might also be that, if the indicator light is located at the bottom of the cabinet, that it might have become unplugged from the wiring and it simply needs to be reconnected. In any case, be sure to unplug the freezer before you go removing anything, such as the access panel or the bulb mount, etc.

It is a very easy repair in most cases and you will need to determine the brand and model number for your freezer, since you didn't provide it here. Once you have that information, you can go to www.searspartsdirect.com and enter that info into the site and locate the replacement bulb for your freezer.

You'l be able to see a line drawing and a parts listing for all the various pieces for your freezer and can order it online directly from them, too, if you wish. You can also use the part number to get on from a local service provider if you prefer.

Remember, with more information (brand and a complete model #) we could provide you with the precise part numbers and a direct link to the web pages that show your specific freezer.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Frigidaire Fridge/freezer works then doesn't work???

every 6-8 hrs your ref. goes into a defrost mode. sounds to me like your fridge is getting stuck in defrost, may want to replace defrost timer roughly 18-45.00 dollars depending were you live. also ive seen a few that the electrical cord in back were it goes into ref mid way up to the left behind cover can have some loose connections back their; remove panel covering and inspect. becuz if its the timer it wouldnt cause the light not to work so it may not be your timer if the light it turning off.also make sure your outlet is good and the prongs on power cord are not loose. hope this helps

Servis fridgefreezer light

IT COULD BE A BAD LIGHT SWITCH, SOCKET OR BULB.
IF THE CONTROL IS ELECTRONIC, SOME REFRIGERATORS WILL SHUT DOWN THE LIGHTS IF THE DOOR IS LEFT OPEN TOO LONG.
BE SURE THE BULB IS SCREWED IN ALL THE WAY. SOMETIMES, THEY WILL WORK LOOSE.
