You need to run some labels to warm up the printhead. its not a problem, its just a warning. you can disable fthis warning from the setings.

There is no such thing as self clean mode. get a cotton swab soaked in 90% or stronger isopropyl alchol and wipe the print head. be careful not to scratch.

install the correct drivers from
check if printer is connect and on.
wen finish, restart the computer, he can check automaticly.

DSG 140 LED display faded, cant read the display

LCD fades can be caused by many issues HOWEVER none of them are user serviceable. Contact the customer support team for a RMA request!

It all depends on what type of zebra you have. Some have different buttons than others...

Zebra 4M Plus - There is no display info when powered on.

Ok so the printer is calibrating and printing which means the fault lies with the display, or power to the display pcb. Check the fuse on the mlb, if that is ok then order p/n G79302M (display panel)

Zebra 220 All media feeds out when printer turned on

Go into the printer set up and turn off all the motions to no on power up, head up.
Change the stock type to continuous.
The unit will not calibrate when started, but should take the label size you send it when you send the format.

Recalibrate. Sometimes the LED is too strong and it will show through the paper or the sensor is damaged. People will jam screwdrivers in there to get the label out. This sensor is found where the label first goes into the rollers.

Zebra 140xi II error

If you open the case there is a sensor that detects whether the head is opened or not that is connected to the open and close lever. Sometimes the tab that blocks the sensor when it is closed get out of alignment or comes loose or the sensor is jarred loose. Make sure the tab breaks the beam.
