If it has SD slots they will be located on the front of the computer. Card readers are normally installed into a free CD/DVD slot.
If you do not have anything like that you can pick up a USB card reader for $10.00 to $20.00 just about anywhere. Like this one, I want to know if my 2004 Dell computer has a - 02416fd.jpg

Hope this helps.

It would be under the cd drive if you had one.. SD is what most people have.. some printers have them ..

Where is the memory card for thhe Kodak C433 located?

Next to the battery. It could be the slot is empty, but then you know where to put it.
Be aware you only can use MMC (old) and SD cards, so don't try SDHC cards or even SDXC cards. They won't work in your camera.

Protected momery card

If you did not remove the memory card before, it could be there is a bad contact on the memory card or in the camera. It also could mean your card is full. (you should delete some pictures) First put the pictures on the computer or another memory, like external hard drive, or somewhere in the cloud.
If you recently had your memory card out, it could be you accidentally switched it to lock. See the picture how the switch on the SD card should be. The 64GB card is unlocked, the 32GB card is locked. Make sure your switch is up like on the picture.58575d9b-f54f-431e-b178-18861b326f77.jpg

Hi I can tell that sometime you have to format within computer using external memory card reader, not from camera. It is not recommend switching around one sd card to another camera. It cause card error. If you want to use it, then you have to save pictures somewhere in other storage or computer, and format the one you want to use in computer using external memory card reader. And then one more time format in camera (you have to insert memory card into camera) These method very helpful on like your problem. If not working, then you have either camera defective or memory defective. Thanks and best regard!

How to install a memory card from a digital camera and put it in my dell computer.

Purchase a USB memory card reader. Insert the memory card into the card reader and connect it into the computer's USB port. The computer will see this as an external storage device, you can then open the folders on the memory card and copy the photos to your Dell computer.

Try formatting through the computer rather than from within the camera itself. Or, just open the card on the computer, select all, then delete. There's probably a large file in there somewhere that the camera just doesn't have enough ooomphh to move out.

Hope this helps. :)

Hi, have you tried using your computer to format the memory card, what you need to do is put your memory card into a memory card reader then wait a minute then open up my computer then locate the memory card then right click on it with the right button on the mouse then choose format and format it to fat32 then try it in your camera and it should then be working.

if you have been using a memory card in the camera and still have it then put this in the memory card reader and go to my computer and then right click on the memory card and select properties and have a look at what format that memory card is, and if its anything other than fat32 write down what it is.
Then put the new memory card into your card reader and goto my computer then right click with the mouse then choose format and then choose to format it to the same type as the other memory card thay you know works in the camera, once you have done this the memory card should work in the camera with no problems.

until you have formatted the memory card to the correct type it wont be recognised by your camera so give it a try what i said and you should find you will have no more problems ok.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

Don't know how to download memory card onto computer

You can get the manual here. To download to computer you need the cord that goes from the camera to the USB port on the computer. as for the battery you usually get 2-3 years of life before you need to replace.

Memory saturated...do not know how to download pics

We need more info please, but these are general tips....

The easy solution is to remove your memory card, then plug it into a computer with a card reader. Copy all the photos to your computer then back them up somewhere in case your computer crashes in the future. Then put your memory card back in your camera and reformat it.

The more complicated way, is to install the software that came with your camera on your computer. Then connect your camera to your computer using the USB cable that was supplied with it. Follow the instructions in your manual which will tell you if you need to press any buttons.

Cant get my pics on to my computer for some reason

There are cameras having dual memory, that is inbuilt and card memory. Suppose your pictures can be downloaded from the inbuilt memory.your card may have problems. You try to format the card using camera and then give another try.
