Pioneer DEH-P3500 Output Chip (IC)

What is the output chip used on the Pioneer DEH-P3500? Is it the PAL006a, PAL007a,b, or c??
I'm looking to replace the IC but I just want to be sure of the chip before I order a replacement.
Thanks in advance!

Does it matter if the chip is the PAL007a or PAL007b or the PAL007c? I've seen all three and I just want to be sure before ordering.
    Thanks!

Power but no sound help plz....

well here we go how do you have your pioneer radio connected .
did you run the radio speaker wire out to the factory speaker or did you have an amp connected to the rca output jacks.

1 well if the radio connect by the speaker wire out the
output chip in the radio is fried and needs repair ....

2. if u have a amp connected to power your speakers for sound
check the amp to make sure you have power and no lose connection or speaker wires disconnected.
3. it also possible that the rca jacks are fried too

I no by experience that pioneer loses ground on the audio output jack (rca) well what we did to fix it is..
take and 18 gauge wire stripe back about 1/2" to 1" of the insulation to expose the copper wire and wrap this around the metal casing of the rca jacks and then ground the wire to a ground point do this for both left and right rca jacks...

I've a Pioneer DEH-P8400MP. I get no sound out of the ISO speaker connector, only out of the RCA outputs. This told me that there was a problem with the IC Amplifier (a PAL007A I believe). A quick check...

no it isn't obsolete and there are replacements and cheater replacements. the pal 006a,pal005a,tda 7856/7854,7386,and the cheater one that will work and you already probably have is the ic from an original delco radio off of a chevrolet radio. but it will not have a remote wire to it.

Output Chip blown, need help!

Why do you think the output chip is blown? This is NOT a user serviceable part. One must posess several uncommon tools, and must know what the output chip looks like.

There IS a chance that the radio is in SELF PROTECT MODE becausea speaker in the car is causing a direct short, or even possibly VERY HIGH, or VERY LOW resistance.

One at a time Disconnect speakers while the radio has a CD or station tuned in. If you disconnect the "blown speaker" the remaining speakers left connected should start to play.

Internal amp description on the pioneer deh-3500

Look for a large integrated circuit that is bolted to the heat sink. It probably has about 15 to 20 leads coming out of the bottom edge. Be sure that if you replace it that you apply some fresh heat sink "grease" between the IC and the heat sink. Good luck and I hope you have a soldering iron and solder sucker.
