Go to control panel and click the mouse option and check the status, if every thing is okay then it is a hard ware issue. Kindly contact the service center.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a dell xps M1330. Its mouse pad is behaving weird. If I try using it, it doesnt work but if I keep holding a shortcut key(play/stop/volume keys) while using the mouse pad it works fine. Any help?

hi,

your mouse pad dose not connect to the ground of device so when you keep and hold any

shortcut of keyboard , this connection done , and mouse pad work.

for this you (if you can) or a technician must remove the keyboard and change the flat cable

between mouse pad and devise .

good luck

Mouse not working on mouse pad anymore after it showed that batteries are low, of course i changed the batteries

I'm assuming it's an optical mouse, but a few details are lacking in your post. Is it the same mouse pad that you used before you changed your batteries? Is your mouse pad shiny? Because that will affect the performance of an optical mouse. And really, and optical mouse doesn't need a mouse pad. If it works OFF of the mouse pad, just get rid of the pad.

Lenovo n500 laptop ... mouse pad not working

The mouse pad maybe faulty or the ribbon cable from the mouse pad to the motherboard may not be properly connected. Reseat this cable.
You can connect an USB optical mouse to the laptop. I prefer you use a USB mouse all the time over the mouse pad.

My mouse pad doesnt work and my login screen is froze

Hey,

This is a common fault in the acer aspire 5000 series.

Your keyboard and mouse are no longer functioning? Does usb keyboard work?

when you turn the computer on and it says on the corner of the screen to press f2 or this button to enter setup, are you able to enter setup?

If not, then you have a bigger problem on the laptop.

do you still have warranty on it?
