Question about Water Heaters
After the power was reset in the house the water heater keeps going on vacation mode by itself please help. no hot water
I wonder if it is,because whenever there is a power outage, certain things do NOT respond well to the reconnected power's "Inrush Current" Often this will "Spike" the Electronic Controller, and I think that is what has happened to your, unit. I have seen it many, many time before. This fits with what you related, "after the power was reset in the house" (sic) This the thing that gives it away, is that. Anytime Power is cut, and then simply reconnected, can and does cause exactly this type of problem. You need to call a registered engineer to attend to your situation, I would imagine, they will have to replace the main controller.
There is just one chance, IF, your unit, can be "Reset" then you could try that before calling for professional help.
