Question about Toshiba SD-V295
I had the tv repair man out 2 days ago for an unrelated problem which he easily fixed, I showed him my dvd player which I couldn't get to play on another non digital tv he said it was incompatible so we switched it with another that was compatible from another tv he showed me that they both worked now, saw it with my own eyes. Icannot get this thing to play a DVD or VCR for life of me I've tried manually pushing play and the remote they both act like they are playing but nothing on the screen the TV is on channel 3.1 and all the cables are hooked up as he left them WHAT THE F&*^ gives here anybody out there than can help
The TV needs to be on channel 3 not channel 3.1 because is a digital channel and the signal from the VCR is analog. Tune the TV to channel 3 to get the analog video from the VCR.
