The blue power botten keeps flashing and it wont come on.

Question edited for clarity, your television is 'Nordmende', not 'Norfmende'.

Time for a new one, but try the power reset first as mentioned here.

mine has done the exact same thing, and apparently ( have yet to try) there's a second fuse in the tv and that's the problem, now I need to locate the fuse!!! lol mines an older Philips, let me know if yours is the same problem

I hope you still have this TV! Your problem is with the power supply, There are three transistors on the power supply that you should change (Costs approx. $0.45). These are adjustable precision shunt regulators. I believe they are labeled IC IC7, IC8 and IC9 which are all the same transistor (part no. TL431AC). While you have the board out, make sure that none of the capacitors are swollen/bulged; if any are, replace.

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). you have to use a rechargeable battery pack,for some reason those blue controllers and the legendary need the packs or they wont work right regular batterys dont do it even new lithiums wont work.

Is the led flashing a two digit blink code/ let me know the number its flashing as mitsubishi has a built in self diagnosis feature that makes the led blink a two digit code.
