Gas Grill Won't get as hot as it used to? Read on:

Hello. Are you frustrated because your gas grill doesn't get hot enough lately. The problem you are having indicates that you have to go through a procedure called "RESETTING THE REGULATOR". Follow these easy steps:

1. Turn the burners on for one full minute and then off.

2. Next, remove the regulator and the hose from the tank.

3. Then reconnect the tank to the regulator and hose.

4. And very slowly open the tank.

5. Last step is to fire up the burners and start cooking with you new hot flame.

The problem began the first time you opened the valve on the tank too quickly. In the future, always turn the tank valve on s-l-o-w-l-y to prevent this problem.. Joe

2 yr old baby Q new tank was able to get very litle flame then nothing tryed with lighter checked connections Tryed a used mini tank no go The snow is about gone here and would like to get her...

The LP Grill tank's OPD Valve has locked up your regulator. To solve the problem turn the tank valve OFF. Disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes. Reconnect the hose and turn the tank valve on VERY, VERY, SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner and turn it to high. Does the flame height now look correct? If so, you solved the problem.

If it didn't and the grill and tank were stored outside during the snowy winter. The grill's regulator may be frozen. In which case, soak a bath towel in hot water, ring it out and quickly wrap it around the regulator. If that was the problem, gas should start flowing again, in several minutes.

Hope this helped to solve your problem.

How to put new gas line from carb totank

Cut the new one at an angle like to a point then run into the tank take a wire ( I use a short piece of coat hanger with a U bent in it) and fish the line out put on the filter then drop the filter back in the tank with plenty of line so the filter is at the bottom of the tank then run the line to the carb and cut any excess off and put on carb

Burner flames don't get hot, like not enough gas.

Try this, Turn off the tank. Disconnect it. Reconnect it. Turn tank valve back on very slowly and then see if you get bigger flame size.
