GE PFSS6PKW Displays 8888

After a 3 second power outage, my GE model pfss6pkw is now showing 8888 on the display and I can't reset it. I turned off the power to the refrigerator for about 8 minutes and turned it back on, but the display has not changed. How do I reset it, or what does it mean?

Thanks

Simply press the top left (Engery Saver) and top right (Alarm) buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds--it will beep and reset the panel.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. This was the easy fix! Other sites were telling us we had to get service to replace the logic board. This was the cure for my Samsung model RFG298.
