Hello, yes, The Model number is located on the motherboard itself. It is sometimes hard to see. After you find it you can google the number and ususally get all info. You also can possibly find a Manufacture web site and also get specs. Hope this helps, good luck..!!

No battery power when my electricity goes off.

Motherboard batteries can be easily replaced.
Just use a narrow object to pry the battery carefully out of its socket, and replace it with the same model number. (the number is etched onto one side of the battery)

See this photo for an example

Batteries can be found at most stores, especially parts stores such as radio shack, or frys electronics.

I have 2GB memory in my compaq Presairo V6500 Can I upgrade to 3 or 4GB

Yes you can definitely upgrade to a 3 GB. As for the 4GB, i can't really say.
You see, most systems or motherboards comes with a specific limit of the RAM capacity or processor which they can handle.
The best thing to do is to go through your manual and depending on the exact specifications of your motherboard, you should see the specific capacity which your system is allowed to operate with. This is because, the limitations vary from each system depending on your specifications.
If you cannot locate this, you can call a technician over and he would help you go through the motherboard and tell you the exact limit of your system.
Hope this helped you?

I want sound drive for XP how?

Clarify me your motherboard's brand / model in order to locate for you the drivers for Windows XP. You can locate the model near the center of the board, near the VGA slot.

Waiting clarification, don't hesitate to post.

How much is the maximum capacity of hard disk in p4vmm2 motherboard

Motherboards do not have hard disks but you can attach hard disks to them. Most motherboards allow you to connect several hard disks of various sizes. Most home computers only have one hard disk.

Open your computer back up look for the hard disk(s).
The capacity of the hard disk is usually on its label.
If not, you can look it up by the manufacturer and model name on Google to determine the capacity.

Depending on the size of the disk, 1 or more GB of the total capacity will be inaccessable because it is used to format the disk. (e.g. Windows might only "see" 28GB of 30GB disk.)

If this helps please vote for my solution.

Too much memory for Giga-Byte K8M800-8237

The issue of this is not too much capacity on your memory., i tell you the problem is incompatible both of them. Check again your memory and what brand are there.
Because something motherboard settings are being notify if reliable to you to use different kind of RAM you have. Read the motherboard manual to find out some settings to enable both of them are not the same brand or model.

2 rams nt working simultaneously

Are they exactly the same brand and model? Sometimes they dont like to mix and match. Say you have the Left and right ram slot. Does each single stick work alone in the left and the right slot? Sounds like you may have a dead ram slot.. :(
