How do I turn this off? CAN'T FIND the "off" button.. need to find a user manual.

The enter button that has the little return arrow on it is also the power on and off button. You hold it down for two seconds to turn the unit on or off.

Where can I get the belt clips that go on the back of my Audiovox FR-1438 Walkie Talkies ??

Hi,

I'm not familiar with that make of radio, but try taking the unit to your local Radioshack or similar store, and I'm sure they will come up with a solution.

I hope this answer helps you find the part.

Cheers,
Peter

Sorry, parts were not offered for this style radio. However, you might watch for used ones on ebay for replacement parts.

Have a Motorola 2 way walkie talkies but misplaced the manual on how to operate the unit. Bought these at Canadain Tire about 5 yrs. ago. Not sure if 1XTN4004B or CH600 is the model number. Please advise...

Haven't been able to locate a user guide for the multi-unit charger. However, it is pretty much plug-in-n-play. It can charge a battery inside a radio, or also accommodate a battery alone in each of 6 cups. As for replacement parts, they are not available, and you cannot purchase the multi-unit tray separate from the power supply. This is a slow rate charger and would take 10 hours to charge your batteries (or overnight). Radios/batteries should only be placed on the charger when nearly depleted. (Consider your charge a place your radios go to bed overnight.)

If you are having difficulty with charging, clean your battery contacts on the exterior of the radio and inside the charger cups with a pencil eraser.

This tray can act as a radio cloning station. See page 23 about cloning in the XTN radio user guide: http://www.123radios.com/manuals/xtnmanual.pdf

Best regards.

Battery will charge if off of radio will not charge if attached to radio

look on the battery , you sould see a 3 digit code. EG if you see a code like 458 . this means week 45 ,2008 or if it is 123. this means week 12 at 2003. The motorola batteries last up to 2 yrs. if it older than 2 years old , replaced the battery
