Question about Lexmark X6170 All-In-One InkJet Printer
It sounds like you are using aftermarket or refilled cartridges. Aftermarket cartridges will sometimes gum up or clog the nozzles. To clear the sensors and nozzle, install new OEM cartridges, run deep cleaning a number of times (at least 3 times), and then the alignment utility.
Aftermarket/refilled cartridges do not always meet the manufacturer's specifications for quality. Try cartridges from LDproducts.com for your printer. I've never had a problem with their aftermarket cartridges.
Please rate this solution. Thanks.
