Only fuse you need is the power wire leading to your aftermarket amplifier for te subwoofer. Which most likely you have too small of a gauge of wire and burned straight through it, and if you haven't, add a 40 amp fuse near the battery where your power cable is hooked up to. I'm just thinking out loud. Turn the crank by hand while you watch the rotor, they should move together, if not, you got a problem.
Can you check cylinder compression, if compression is really bad, you may never get it to run right?
In the past on older vehicles, some of the them, the check engine lite wouldn't work, but, I could hook up a scanner that shows live engine data, hook- up to the aldl, it would show engine data, of course it wouldn't show codes.

try one at a time. if they work then try hooking them up differently. if none work, then check to see that your amp is not in protect mode. if amp is ok, then check to make sure you have your rcas connected to your amp. in other words, re-check all your wiring. if still nothing, try your amp on your friends car and vise versa.

The yellow wire goes to + (hot) 12 volt constant, red wire goes to ignition switch, Hook up your amp together with the red wire
(switched) and the amp will come on with the ignition switch.
Blue and white wire is for the power antenna.

Check the wiring between the sub and the amplifier. That's seems to be the only thing left that could cause a problem. If it's shorted to ground or pinched so the conductors are shorted together, it could cause the symptoms you listed.
