Sounds like you are flooding it. here try this. go to your mower, prime it by pushing the bulb 3 to 5 times, set the choke, pull it once, maybe twice. If it don't start leave it alone 15 minutes (ON THE CLOCK) then come back take the choke of (set it to "run") and try pulling one more time. See if it starts when you pour gas in, its working, OHHHH Hooo! It just hit me! Is the gas in the tank 100% fresh? I don't mean mixed with a little old gas and hope. MUST BE 100% Fresh. See the contradiction here is wet plug no start, (You are obviously getting the gas) But you pour in the gas and it starts? I bet if you poured in the gas its more than 1 pull would give it from the tank! You see what I'm getting at? That tells me you may have bad gas vs. fresh gas!

Let me know what happens. (sorry if reading the first post is confusing you a bit. I saw the typographical errors and could not re-edit them out) ie: See if it starts? I mean, when "YOU" pour gas in its working! What I really mean is, you pouring in the gas thru the spark plug hole would flood it more than 1 or 2 pulls would. But...it ran right? So why doesn't it run when its wet with the gas from the tank when you try to pull it to start? If the gas in the tank is fresh 100% then you are giving it too much throttle too soon and flooding it out. Use the choke, back off on the throttle, and last EZ fix is....STARTING FLUID! (great stuff that is! Could win a war with it in the right places!)

How do I get my Tecumesh Model H35-45430M lawn mower motor running. Have cleaned, soaked it in solvent that would take the hair off a mouse as well as trying with the choke full on which does not wet

You can over soak it and if you soak it in any strong solvent that does not affect gasoline solvent you have wasted your time. You should never need to remove welch plugs. With more information someone might be able to better advise you. Pull the plug and with an oil can or the like squirt a small amount of fuel into the cylinder and then screw the plug back in and see if it will start and run.

"I run it for a little bit and then turn off and come back a couple hours later and it wont start spark plug is wet"

From this little bit of info it sounds like the carburetor float needle seat is leaking and is filling the cylinder with fuel. A good cleaning and rebuild of the carburetor will probably resolve the problem and is where I would start if it was in my shop.

Without the actual model number I wasn't able to get any further info,

Corded electric mower loses power then comes back on during use

Same likely answer from several possibilities. Likely to be a poor electrical contact. Check *the supply had good contact for plug and an adequate fuse. *possible loose contact in the handle switch *if several years old, possible worn carbon brushes in motor. Easy to replace. *You should be using an RCD cut out switch. Check if mower works without it. Replace if dodgy
NB Only try to fix last two if you know what you are doing!

Lawn Boy mower will not start. New gas and plug.

Is the plug getting wet? if not, try introducing fuel to the intake and attempt to start it again, the interlock on the handle works by killing the ignition fire and applying a brake to the flywheel, this should be a Tecumseh engine, carb troubles are quite prevalent on these, by substituting fuel to the intake you are acting as the fuel supply, if it starts and runs briefly you have confirmed a fuel system issue

If you have spark and gas, it should start. The plug shouldn't be wet with gas, adjust the carbuerator fuel flow screw to reduce fuel to the engine. Use full choke to get it started

Clean air filter and replace spark plug. If it is wet when you pull it out let it sit and dry out before putting new one in.

The primer bulb might be damaged, or the carburator diaphram could have been damaged if carburater cleaner was used.
