I locked the door latch maualy at the door of 2000 ford explorer how do release it

Look into the lock opening on the door frame for a part you can reach with a flat-blade screwdriver.
These can normally be opened if prying on the lock mechanism.

If you want to risk another door, watch the mechanism move when locking it manually.
You should then be able to reset both.

My malber wd2000 door won't open

Malbers use a thermal (heat acting) latch to hold the door closed, so it stays latched for about 2 mins after being turned off. This is to give you time to think before you open the door and possibly spill water all over your feet. When the little bi-metallic piece cools off, it bends to one side (inside the latch assy) releasing the catch, and the door can be opened. Sometimes, the bi-metallic part bends OK, but the latch catches and won\'t release. It just needs a little vibration to free it up. A smack to the latch area (on door or face of Washer) will free the latch.

I tell my customers: Don\'t pull too hard on the white door handle. If you can\'t open it with your little finger (seriously) it\'s not ready to open!

Driver's door won't open inside or out. Power locks work but inside and outside handles dont release latch. Can I get door panel off in the closed position, otherwise any way to open door

Hey, You need to remove the panel otherwise u can't reattach the metal sticks that move the locks, but i think it's hard to remove it in a closed posision when u don't brake it

Volvo xc90 rear hatch door closed and won't open

Hold the hatch hard closed into its frame whilst pulling on the release handle. The mechanism on most cars consists a grab/release on the door and a simple metal hop at the bottom of the frame. Over time the hoop can become loose and move slightly inwards each time the door is shut. The door seal rubbers push back on the door surround putting a lot of tension against the grab/release mechanism preventing it from releasing. By pressing on the door and compressing the rubber surround you will take the pressure off the release mechanism and allow it to open when you pull on the handle. Once the door hatch is open, loosen the mounting bolts to the metal hoop and move it out about 10mm. Tighten the mounting bolts. Shut the door gently as a trial close and check for security of fit. If very slack, ease the hoop inwards a couple of millimetres. When happy, tighten the mounting bolts securely. draw around the hoop mount with indelible ink so if it moves in future you have early visual warning and can remount it easily

Maytag Neptune washer front load- Can't open the door

Take out the bleach and softener tray (it just lifts out, angle it a little) and unscrew the 4 bezel screws and take out the bezel. You will find a red or green plastic pull line that is supposed to release the door. You may have to "man-handle" the door a bit and pull hard on the line before it will release. Once you work on the door release mechanism (I had to replace the wax motor again, even though it was the "upgrade" black plunger type) I recommend shooting a little silicon spray on the white plastic moving parts of the locking mechanism to get them to move more easily.
This is true on a Maytag Neptune MAH3000AWW front loading washer. Mine is 11 years old, and had the initial wax motor work done at 7 years.

Won't unlock

I've had a similar issue occasionally;
First, try turning it off and on again.
Then push the door closed with your knee as you pull the release handle.

My door seems to close tighter at the bottom than the top, so I have to push the bottom of the door in fully sometimes to get it to open. I guess some kind of sensor is getting tripped, and keeping the door locked..

I hope this helps!

Mazda 2003 MPV door locks

I just fixed this same problem. It happened to me 3 different times in a month so I got good at it. Before you dive into removing your door try this. Pull the door handle and release it letting it snap back several times. The problem is a half open door latch that won't let the door unlock. Do this as aggressively as you can to attempt to get the latch to return to its original position. Check the door lock between flicks.

Ok, if that didn't work, here is how to remove the door.
1. Remove the screw behind the door latch, you will have to pop the plastic cover off first.
2. Remove the rubber insert in the door handle
3. Remove the screw that is now visible
4. Now remove the window/lock control module, the back is free but the front has a plastic lip so lift the back up and pull towards the back of the van.
5. Remove the clips that attach to the lock and to the window controls (these can be a pain)
5. (Optional) Remove the bracket that held the window/lock control module

At this point your door is basically free, it is only held in place with plastic clips that can be easily forced off. If your door were open you would simple pull the bottom of the door out (hinged at the window) and lift it off. But since we can't pull because the door is closed we have to force it out.

From here it is pretty simple. Move the seat all the way back and tip the seat way back. Lift the door panel straight up. You will be breaking 2 plastic clips from the rear part but once you do it just pulls out. This is not that easy because the space is limited but just keep pulling and force the rear end of the door panel past the b-pillar. Once you do this it is free.

Have fun and try to keep the black gook from getting everywhere.

Oh, to fix the door lock just oil/grease it and manually move the mechanism several times.

95 accord driver side door jammed

It does sound like the mechanism is detached from the handle.
The panel is fairly easy to remove. Just a screw in the handle where you pull the door closed, a screw behind the door handle itself and the rest are just snap in pieces around the permiter of the door. Just gently pull where the snap ins are located ( start at the bottom and work your way around both sides. ) The panel will then lift up over the door lock. Make sure you unplug the speaker and light and door lock plugs before pulling too hard!

Door locked

You cld try 3 things:
1 Find the button on your panel which has the 'key' symbol, press and hold this down till the lock light goes off.

2 Hold down 'options' & 'select' buttons together till the light goes off.

3 Press 'end of cycle' button for 3 seconds, lock should come off.

Pl post back results. Rate if helped.
