Removing agitator My husband left a computor memory stick in his pants pocket and ran them through our Kenmore top loading washing machine.  We believe the memory stick is under the agitator.  How do we remove the agitator and/or is there someplace else it could be stuck. Ann my duvet cover is stuck under the agitator. I have a White--Westinghouse stackable full load washer/dryer. model # MLXE / MLXG42RB ( not sure which # is for dryer or washer....) serial # XE53444330. Can I possibly do this myself I really do not have money for paying a repair man to come out!!! Help me

Sorry, I can't help you. This is the area for asking questions about computer monitors, not washing machines. You clicked the wrong link.
Look at the top of the page, click the Westinghouse link and then on washing machine. Enter your question there.

My bravo meccer note book is freezing want to know how do I format it it is fine if I loose everything and I can reload my windows??

what system, an Mercer what? model>
what OS? (operating system)?
what is wrong, ? how did you get here.
virus? what?

ok an answer, for any laptop
1: ill assume it still running the same OS as new.
2: the system has a manual and shows how to do this.

RTM. read how to do that, some have CD, newer have a restore
partion on the HDD, to restore the OS. if the HDD is bad. kiss of that. silly they do that, huh?
some makers have and ISO to down load for just your machine
this is all in the manual, and varies by maker. radially.
but in the ISO case, you burn it to a memory stick (large)
then install with the flash memory stick this image of a real install disk
as an alternative, say you hated the original OS.
get w8 from windows. you can down load that now from MS.
new rules, with w8
you, install it, and reg it, and done.
id go with W8, it boots faster and is more efficient, needs less memory. It is a better product, Im a linux guy and hate MS end to end and i said that, their W8 is worth the price of admission.
1st time ever....
it is more secure too.
and can be made look and feel just like W7 in short order.
dont listen to the w8 cry babies, they are just ill informed.
the desk top is there, and runs perfectly.

How to remove harddrive

This machine is built very similar to a laptop. I dont know if they are proprietory with their hard drives (in other words replacing it will be next to impossible) or if you can take the back off to get to it. Laptops have specific covers made for removing and replacing parts such as the hard drive, memory etc. I do not see a place for that on this machine which is why I say I am not sure if they are proprietory.

HP Compaq desk top computer says I using to much memory; whats going on?

Hi Pamela,

First, hopefully you have a license and/or install key for AVG or you are using their free product. Because the best way to find out is, if adding AVG is the most recent major change to your system, before these error messages began to appear, then you should uninstall AVG, to see whether AVG itself is the problem.

To do this, you start clean, by doing a shut down and restart.
Then remove/uninstall AVG
Then shut down and restart again.

See if you have problems now that AVG is gone from your computer. I know that it is extremely important to have anti-virus for protection, but not at the cost of your system's stability. You may have to get an alternate product. If you have paid for AVG and recently, try asking their support people for advice on this, even before doing what I suggested. If you are using a Free AVG, then consider spending the money for Norton's Anti-virus 2012, or the most recent version.

Also you mentioned that you have a thumb drive in a USB slot. You might look into using that extra memory not all for photos, but part of it for something called Ready Boost, which works on Vista and Win 7. It dedicates part of your USB memory stick to helping speed up your computer. Do a search on the Microsoft windows site and see if you can use your memory stick for that purpose.

I hope this helps you with your problem.

Hi, During startup, I inserted a USB memory stick and now my screen is all messed up. It is green during startup instead of blue, and in general there are too many green pixels. (and purple pixels too) I...

remove the memory stick then try to boot up again, if still the same try to boot up under advance boot options, pressing "F8" repeatedly on the way up of boot up (from off to on) go to safe mode then try a system restore, see if that helps

I have a front load kenmore washer, the problem I have is that I have to take out th soap dispencer and dump the water out of it.

Remove the drain hose and then run water though it to check whether the hose is blocked. ... Do not overfill the soap dispenser compartment. ... Bleach doesn't dispense during a delicate cycle

Rinse the machine with no load and no detergent. Run a regular wash cycle.

Put in a 3rd 512 kb stick into AX4B533 & it was not recognized; did the same with AX4B533 tube and it caused spontaneous rebooting; how should i configure memory to get 1.5 min or 2 gig mem?

instead of 3 512 I would go with either 2 1gigs or 2 2gigs Some machines will only handle so much memory. It excepts all of it but will only register as much as needed, and left over memory gets stored
