I have just upgraded from the V6 to V8, but cannot get the alarm clock to ring long enough to wake me up! The menu has changed slightly and there is now a snooze option but whatever I seem to set that to, the alarm only rings for approx 30 secs and then goes off. Any clues please?

We just signed new contracts for our cell phones and 2 out of 3 of razor v8's we got have problems with the alarm clocks. If you set the alarm for 30 minutes or an hour through the shortcut the alarm will work fine. If you go into alarm clock and set a specific time it will not sound off. Tigo, our local provider claims it is a software problem and will probably take a few weeks to fix it.

i have had the v8 razr2 grey colour for about a year when the vibrate stopped working, i had insurance so i got a replacement which happens to be the cappachino black model, the alarm did not work at all! I slept in the firast morning as i never thought to check! I have just got another replacement for that one which i had for less than 24hrs and guess what...the alarm does not work on this one either?! And thats 2 brand new in their boxes. What do i do? Call orange and get yet ANOTHER one? Is it the phone or what? annoyed!

I have recently got a V8, but the alarm clock rings only for (exactly) one minute and then stops. This is normally not enough to wake me up. Have checked with other friends having the same model, and they do not have this issue. Can anyone help ?

Need manual for Travel Companion Model S1500 Alarm Clock

Travel alarm clocks can have varying instructions, depending on the type of clock you are using. Here are some tips for use that will apply to any alarm clock.

  1. Power source
    • Travel alarm clocks will need to have some sort of power source. Depending on the type of alarm clock, it might be battery-powered or it might have a cord that needs to be plugged in. Battery-powered alarm clocks can take mini watch batteries, AAA batteries or sometimes AA batteries. Travel alarm clocks, because of their tiny size, usually have the small batteries that need to be bought from a watch store or a dollar store. Before you leave, make sure you have a working power source and can turn it on.
    Changing the time
    • After you reach your final destination, power the alarm clock on. Now you'll need to set the time and date correctly. Check a watch, cell phone or television to get the exact time and locate the buttons or dials on your alarm clock. On some, there will be a "time" or an "hour" button you need to press and hold to activate the alarm time change. While you are holding it down, turn the dial, press the hour button or press the (+) button until you notice a time change. On others, simply pressing the hour or minute button will let you change the time shown.
    Setting AM/PM
    • The AM/PM option is critical in setting your alarm clock correctly. Make sure the LCD display on your clock has a light beside the correct AM or PM setting, or look for the letters AM or PM on the display. If you get this wrong, the alarm won't go off in the morning!
    Setting alarm time
    • To set the alarm time, look for a button or a switch that says alarm. If there is a switch, move it to the alarm setting. If it is a button, you'll need to hold it down until the time starts flashing, signaling time to change the hours and minutes to the desired alarm time, or hold it down while you press the hours and minutes buttons to reach the alarm time you want.
    Turn alarm on
    • Now double-check that your regular and alarm times are correct by switching the switch back and forth again, or by pressing the alarm/time buttons long enough to read the time set. There should be a picture of a bell somewhere on your LCD display showing that the alarm is set to "on." If there isn't, look for the on/off alarm button and move it to the correct position.
    Music options
    • The last step is finding the alarm wake-up option. Not all travel alarm clocks have this option, but if yours does there will be a switch or button that lets you choose to wake up by a buzzer, the radio, a CD, or another device.

I have a 1978 battery operated Garfield clock made by Sunbeam. The wires have come off, am trying to rewire but need a diagram

I have a Model 883-100
As far as I can tell
Battery 1 + Yellow from clock / Green from clock -Neg (Clock)
Battery 2 + Red to bell / White Neg to clock (Alarm Bell)
blue to alarm volume switch
red from alarm switch to bell

The Green is Neg on the inside of the movement
The Yellow is Positive to the clock movement
The Blue and White go to the trigger for the alarm-
(switch to power alarm)
one battery is for the clock and the other is for the bell
the battery on the clock moment is not needed
but should can be used to run the clock if wiring is messed up.

Set Clock

This clock has 2 alarms to set Alarm 1, switch alarm 1 to the "set" position and make sure alarm 2 is pushed to the "off" "radio" or "cathedral" position, press and hold the "alarm" button on top while pressing the "f.fwd" or "rev" button to set the alarm....to set Alarm 2, do the opposite of the set buttons and repeat...to set the time just hold the time button down while pressing "f.fwd" or "rev"...hope that wasn't too confusing.
