Question about Computers & Internet
When you first received the laptop and turned it on ,it would have asked you to make a recovery disc,
if you did ,(and if i understand you correctly ,you want to format the hard drive),
put it in the cd drive and boot up to recover your hard drive,
or when you boot the laptop up, it will tell you what button to push (sometimes F11) to go to the recovery partition, and restore it back to the factory settings, read the manual.
you may need to reboot a number of times to catch what it says if you don't have the manual,
then you will be asked if you want a destructive recovery (lose all date) or not ,this depends why you want to clean the hard drive.
a none destructive will leave your programs on the hard drive and restore only the operating system & drivers.
