Question about Kenmore 75085 Air Conditioner

This really would be simple after you do this one time. The model number you listed has 3 more digits or numbers on the end=>
58072077200 so if incorrect let me know.The 580 means it was originally built by Goldstar (LG Electronics) So unplug the air conditioner and remove the front cover. There will be a cover plate behind the control knobs and you will need to pull them off. Then the cover plate that hides the galvanized cover behind it. You may be near the capacitor and I always discharge any stored energy with a screwdriver before touching any electrical parts. Touch it across all terminals of the capacitor. A somewhat helpful illistration so let me know when ready, Most of this I will need to explain as we go. Once under the cover read the data plate for voltage and BTU's
