Usually at the front of the Acers on left....or at the left side...run your hand gently along front or left and locate the dummy card already in there, push gently and it will pop out.

A bit late I know, but for anyone else out there - it's on the right front, roughly in line with the outer edge of the "enter" key.

Need to plug in large sd card into smaller slots on acer computer what do I need

You will need an adapter "Yes" You have a Micro vs a Mini I believe here is a good link for the type of adapter you may need. They are found at Bestbuy and Walmart as well I just bought one. Also amazon.com has really great pricing and fast shipping I use them all the time for these sort of items for sure. I just checked the price at amazon and it was $7.00 instead of $19.00

How can i transfer pictures from acer iconia to memory card

This Tablet Personal Computer [PC] takes Micro Secure Digital [SD] Cards. To transfer pictures from a Digital Camera to this PC, if the Camera also takes Micro SD cards, is simply a matter of removing the Micro SD card from the Camera and installing it in the PC's Micro SD Card Slot and then waiting for the PC's AutoPlay function to serve up the photo files stored on the card, which can then be Dragged and Dropped into a photo folder on the PC.

If the Camera takes SD Cards, then a Micro SD to SD Card Adapter is required so that the PC's Micro SD Card can fit in the camera before pictures are taken and then disconnected from the adapter afterwards, for re-insertion in the PC.

If the Camera takes a different type of Memory Card, then a Multi Card Reader might be required, which would be connected to the computer's USB Port and the Memory Card slotted into its matching slot in the Card Reader.

See Acer Iconia Tablet PC Specifications here (or on similar specification pages):

Card slot location on acer 5740-5255? I tried to insert at front of laptop but too big. Do I need an adapter? I am using Scan Disc pro Que

I can't find a Scan Disc pro Que, but I can find a Sandisk Pro Duo, which is a micro SD card.

You will need either an adaptor or a USB cable which can connect the device which uses the card to you laptop.

There are a couple of types of adaptor, one basically converts the micro card to and looks like an ordinary SD card. The other looks like a USB flash drive which you slot the micro card into.

Really cheap on Ebay. Just search for a Micro SD card adaptor.

Acer aspire one won't see my olympus SD MASD-1 micro SD attachmen

You may need the card reader drivers installed. What is the exact model (110, 150, D150?) and operating system of your laptop?

Drivers can be found at the following link given the model of laptop, I can help you find it further if you provide the requested info above.

The m2 adapter i have does not fit my acer aspire laptop yet my laptop card reader says it reads m2 memory cards. is there a certain way of putting the card in to the memory card reader.

I think that with smaller memory cards like m2 and t-flash(micro SD) you would have to use their adapter(a card with a slot that normally converts it to SD) before you can slot it in.

Acer aspire 7004 flash card slot

Your computer doesn't support compact flash cards. Your SD slot is a 5-in-1 card reader, supporting Secure Digital (SD), MultiMediaCard (MMC), Memory Stick® (MS), Memory Stick PRO? (MS PRO), xD-Picture Card? (xD). The big slot is for PCMCIA devices.
