Mitsubishi WT-46807 46 in picture bends and the blue red and white all seperates

My television is acting crazy. When I turn it on the picture will be fine.. 20 seconds later the picture bends on each end of the screen.. If there is letters or words written on the picture, there will be three sets of words one red one blue and one a whitish yellow.. Then it will go back to normal. Then five minutes later the screen will mess up again for another 20 minutes..

Intermittent convergence fail. suggest re-soldering the 2 convergence output ICs on the middle power board. they are the 2 large devices located on the largest heat-sink on the middle board(looking at from back) once you re-solder them as long as the aren't faulty internally you should be all set.

My Mitsubishi TV Model WT-46809 has the picture turn greenish pink after the TV has been on for a little while. What is the possible cause?

These sets did have one common issue where red, green, or blue would do what you are describing.

The set has 3 picture tubes and each has a small circuit board plugged to the bottom of it (bottom of the tubes faces down) and a ground would break loose or a part do the same.

I would examine the picture (see if you can take one and post it somewhere for me to see---picture will tell me a lot).

The ones with the ground broken usually show it more on the sides then in the middle of the screen.

Let me know all you can.

FOR some reason our big screen keeps seperating the three colors, greeen red and blue. Every now and then they will line back up and the screen will clear up but it will jump back and forth all the time,...

Sounds like you have loose solder connections on the convergence ic's. If you have a soldering iron and solder then it will be an easy fix. There are 2 convergence ic's, and they will be mounted to large heat sinks. When you get the back off of the tv, you can tap around on the boards with the handle of a screwdriver or anything else nonconductive and see if it will act up. You may even try banging on the side of the set w/ your hand to see if it acts up. If it isn't loose connections, then the ic's will need to be changed, and possibly some resistors.

I have a 46" rear projection Mitsubishi TV that recently started producing a wavy picture. The reds, blues, and greens separate into wavy color bands distorting the picture. It usually goes away for...

your problem is most probably in convergence circuit.  very common for this model to have convergence output i.c.'s go bad  also possible that a fused resistor or two has failed.

Mitsubishi wt42313. Three pictures, one with each

Thats caused by the convergence Ics having failed. www.tvrepairworld.com should have the convergence kit for your model. The kits also contain the CD with instructions.
