Question about Samsung LNT4069F TV
The most common cause for the problem is a faulty PSU. In some case a defective main board can cause the same problem.
I explained how to test PSU and main board control line in this article:How to test an LCD TV or monitor PSU.
The inverter can also cause the fault, but in that case you usually get sound and no picture, at least occasionally.
As explained PSU is the most common fault causing this problem, but main board must also be tested. Mnor parts as PCB sub, cables, switches and connectors must also be tested for common faults like bad contacts, cold solder joints and shorts.
Here the parts:
Samsung BN96-06669A Main Logic Board
SAMSUNG BN44-00167 Power Supply Board - Main -LN-T4069F
