Question about Cooktops
I have a Necht Gas Hob recently installed but the ignition to lit the hobs is not working. There is no 'clicking' when I press the buttons. I have checked the electrics and the power is running through to the hob okay.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Glad to Help you!!
Take the knob off, them remove the cover that housed the switches, OK, Now, Look at the switch that is continiusly clicking and it will have two wires goin onto it, remove these wires and just lift the sending unit, and inspect it for water, grease etc ect....clean and dry and put back on and try again it should work, if it does not work, then just get a replacement one, they are not expensive, I just replaced two on my Jenn-Air myself and it cost me $25.00.
Hope this will help!!

the ignitors have got wet usually due to cleaning. they are usually located under the rotating switches just let them dry out ( very well .....may take days) and it will work normally again
