Question about Olympus EVOLT E-410 Digital Camera
I have the exact same problem with my e-410, i'm waiting to taking to pros but in mean time trying to find a solution on line! if you do get an answer i'd be grateful if you'd share it with me, as I would you! I thought the problem might be something to do with the USB port in the camera as recently mine got damaged on holiday and some of the pins got broken, maybe you could have a look at yours - it maybe something as happened there

SOURCE: My camera won't turn on
I had the same problem...so I called Casio at 1-800-435-7732 and its from the battery itself. They just sent me a new battery because it was a known issue. It took about 4 days to get the new battery and it was FREE.

SOURCE: Battery Dont Charge
jpierre's solution (in another thread) was right on the money. Touch
the positive (+)end of the 9v battery to the positive (+) end of the
camera battery.Leave them touching for a few seconds (10 seconds should
be more thansufficient). Seems these lithium-ion batteries are subject
to a'digital memory.' Subjecting it to a volt surge almost three
timeshigher seems to clear it.
In short, it works like a charm.

you now can buy chargers to replace lost ones, i work in a camera shop and sell a brand called Hanmel. they do a range of the most popular brands of camera chargers, just check the back of the hamnel packaging it to see if it it compatable with your battery

I called casio and they told me that when you have a red flashing light on the charger it means the lithium battery is no longer any good. They offered to send me one free of charge. It's been several weeks and I have yet to receive it.
