I can't upload my Nikon coolpix s2500 photos to my computer even though I have installed ViewNX2 from Disk supplied

ViewNX won't download pictures from your camera. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Nikon Transfer or Picasa.

I'd like to replace the HD in my NEC Versa 9100. How do I get the notebook apart?

  • Look at the bottom of the laptop.
  • Remove the two or so screws that hold the disk cover in place.
  • Carefully remove the disk and
  • disconnect any cables.
  • Reverse the process to install a new disk.

Replacing your disk with a blank disk and the computer won't even start up. If you want to copy all the data including programs and the operating system, you need to CLONE the old disk to the new. There are several companies that make this software. Do a google search on CLONE DISK
I do this for fun & 4 thumbs not $$$

My ps2 scph-70012 runs only sony disks , i cant run copied disks of my friends ..... can u help me ???... i just want to run copied disks ..

You won't be able to play any pirated games without installing a mod chip in your ps2 or without having some sort of software/codebreaker running from a USB drive attached to the ps2. Software such as Swap Magic (you can google it) and a flip/slide tool (a plastic card will do) will allow you to do this but it is illegal and I don't recommend it.

I hope this helps! If this did help you, please give a thumbs up!

Thank you for choosing FixYa!

My laptop has a strange problem. CDs and DVDs do work fine but when I put in 1 particular DVD the drive does not recognise it. The DVD is working on other computers though. I have an ACER ASPIRE 6530 ,...

Hello,

This is not uncommon at all.

There are slight variations in drives and the tracks of data on the disks are extremely small. A disk may be off a tiny amount and may not work in some drives but will work in others. This seems to be particularly true of user recorded disks.

One thing that sometimes works is to make a copy of the disk. Even making a copy with a drive that won't read it normally may sometimes work. The disk copying software will usually warn you and refuse to try if it really can't read it. Try copying it in another machine, that should solve the problem.

My laptop won't start and says "NLTDR is missing" press control alt delete to restart... why is that?

Windows is corrupt...
Sol = Reload Windows XP

you will need an original WinXP disk....insert the disk in the CD drive and restart...let it boot from the CD (to make changes to boot sequence make changes in BIOS)
once it boots from CD then repair you OS or install a fresh copy of the OS

Disk says not enough space on disk to finilize?

Each time you execute finalization, the disc remaining space will decrease by approximately 13 MB. If you don’t have enough room, it won’t allow you to finalize the disc.
To finalize this disc, you have to delete some pictures to make enough space. But don’t worry, before you delete those pictures, you can save them to your computer.
Find out the CDs came with your camera, refer your manual page 51 - 61 to install ‘PIXELA PTP Manager’ , connect your camera and computer with USB cable, and copy some pictures to your computer, then delete the pictures on camera side. If still not enough room, copy more and delete more. make it enough to do the finalization.
