Fuel ratio for remington mighty mite and user manuel

Most saws are 24 or 25 to one mix on regular 2 stroke oil. Don't use engine oil, use proper 2 stroke oil for clean running. Check the can/bottle for mixing ratio.

What kind of oil is required for the chain and is the oil inserted in the resevoir where the cap is located? If so, does the chain automatically oil itself?

There should be a filler cap in the front of the saw, it uses Bar and chain oil, I use two stroke oil, it is thinner but works great, only replaced one bar in twenty years, sometimes I mix it with chain oil, and most new saws oil themselves automatically, keep the tip out of the sand and dirt and make sure it doesn't turn blue from heat, then you will know it is not oiling itself. Sometimes I pour oil directly on the chain to get it going, hope this helps.

Need chain oil resevoir for Remington electric

I suspect you did an on line search, we can do no better. Remington has ceased production. Parts availability is limited to what is on hand. It might be advisable to save the money you would expend for parts and put it toward the purchase of a new electric saw.
Poulan has been in business a very long time and offers 8 different models. Some can be found at Lowes. HTH
Sooner or later you will encounter a part that isn't available for your Remington. Yours may be worth more as parts than as a complete assembly. eBay?

Guide bar nut loose (stripped stud). How do I replace the stud ? It does not seem to unscrew ! Remington Mighty Mite

I hope the nut is stripped and the stud is OK. Try to gently wedge something below the nut and with a socket attempt to slowly unscrew it.
Remington IPLs can be found here:
They do not use model names. Under "Products" click "Chain Saws"; find an image matching your model and click it. Some list a manual that includes an IPL some do not. If no IPL is listed the only place to get help is the "Repair Center" nearest you for parts. I doubt a bad stud can economically be replaced.
If the stud is still good NAPA Auto Parts can assist you to find a replacement nut. HTH

Joe you are weak! While we are not calling you a sissy girl, we do wonder. You need to build up your arms. Try lifting weight for about a month before you try to start the engine again. Stay out of dark alleys until you do. We will be watching.

Remington X0089-05 pushbutton oiling?

I cannot find an owner's manual with the model number you supplied. I suspect it is actually a serial number.
I did find a manual with this step (Page 5 "OILING SAW CHAIN")
If you purchased this new the reference is probably for an earlier model and should not be there. If gifted to you used or purchased it used the cap may have been replaced.

I suggest you contact the manufacturer here:
And ask for clarification of the manual or a source for the correct oil reservoir cap. HTH
If you contact Remington please provide EVERY number that appears anywhere on this item.

My 106821A 10" Remington electric chain saw leaks oil heavily when stored. Suggestions?

According to the manufacturer... Saw has a gravity-fed oiling system and it is normal for oil to “slowly” seep when saw is not in use. Empty tank after each use to prevent seepage. If you empty before you store it that should do the trick. I hope this helps!

Remington mighty mite chain saw

hi Wayne

Oiling has nothing to do with compression. It has conection only with engine rotation(rpm).More rpm results more oil and viceverse.Check the oil filter, the oil line, the holes from the bar,the oiler, the wormgear and the oil hose.

wish you all the best savumihai71
