New Psp Light comes on and then nothing.

I think it will be very hard to repair it so better take it back and change it... Can also try to fix it at shops but not in home. My friend had the same problem and all shops said that PSP had deffect which they cant fix...

Green light comes on but nothing else turns on

I'll give you the quick story of what they did. They "bricked" the PSP. This is a term used by all PSP hackers. When you try to hack the system so you can play pirated games on the system, you will occasionally get an error that causes the system to be "bricked". They use the word "brick" because once it happens, the PSP becomes as fun as a brick. You really can't do much about it. Your best bet is to call Sony and see what they can do for you. If you know anyone else that knows what they're doing with PSPs, you could always ask them to fix it for you, but Sony would be the easiest. They won't do it for free, but they will fix it for you. 1-800-345-SONY

Psp error

try putting the disc in the slot AFTER turning on the system. if that doesnt work, try hitting the "Home" button on the console and scrolling over to "Games". Then scroll down to "UMD" and hit X.

Psp doesn't want to turn on

The polarity of the charger you used is wrong or the wrong voltage, and has messed up the programming n the battery.  You may be lucky if you get a new battery and use the Right charger, It might fix it.  Sony put a battery in the PSP that has a memory chip in it, and I think it will automatically disconnect if the wrong vooltage hits it, or wrong polarity. be warned that I have seen where someone got a new battery and it did not solve the problem. If this happens to you Contact Sony at the following number.
