Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

My sandisk gives message to free up 30mb and shuts off.Idont have much music on it at all.

    Do you have a microSD card installed? If so, what happens when you remove it?

Remove the microSD card, then delete one or more files in the Sansa's internal memory to free up an additional 30MB.

I need to erase music


when you connect your mp3 player to your computer go to your music host and look for youre mp3 player on the left hand side towards the bottom of the screen then look for the songs folder click it and it will pull up all of youre songs now you can go through and delte the songs

try freeing up some space on it. if that doesn't work try only putting mp3 files on it.

How to free music db space


my sansa clip will turn on but then it says not enough space for musicdb please free 30mb how do i do that and when i hook it up to my systeam to look at the music files it show nothing please help

I kept syncn music to my sansa mp3 and now it wont play.


Connect to your computer copy music to a folder and save as whatever name you give it Then format Check the folder with the music in it to see if there is a file thats not MP3 delete it if there is one then replace the music

Not working


I had the same problem. I re-formatted the player, and now it works fine. Sure, formatting erases all the music, but at least it works now!

To format, just go to "My Computer", find your player in the list, right click on it, then select format.. you're done!

Displays msg. to free up 30 mb -- but can't free up space


Reformat the player is all you can do - you will not be able to download an upgrade that will prevent this from happening in future, b/c the upgrade is not Mac compatible
