Hi, You could try it without the belt on and see if it is noise created by the motor, could be easy to repair if so. **shut off the breaker before trying to service it in any way please** Although there is no adjustment and these are "brushless motors" there may a loose mounting bolt, check closely for that. Worst case scenario the motor is available for around $150-$175 at most brick & mortar parts places or on-line vendors like repairclinis.com, apwagner.com etc. Let me know what you find out, cross your fingers and good luck. Hello again Steve,

not sure how your diagnosis went but I realized I had mis-spelled one of the on-line parts depot's. It should have been repairCLINIC.com as oppossed to repairclinis.com. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

Let me know how you made out or if you found the cause if you don't mind. Your symptoms are not that common to the "WFMC" Bosch so I'd like to find out what was happening if you can post your findings.

Inspect the area around the brush roll. There may be something stuck somewhere in there. Remove the brush roll to see if the brush roll end caps will spin freely. If there is hair or debris restricting the brush roll may be causing noise.

Whirlpool cabrio washing machine doesn't spin

Try to turn the drum by hand, if it hard to turn, there may be something stuck underneath spin basket. If it does turn freely but makes a loud growling sound, you probably have a bad bearing. You should notice black oil and water mixture at bottom of washer, on the rotor. It will usually throw a f51 error code. This unit has service bulletin on this problem.

My 2000 dodge neon has a loud noise coming from the front and feels like something is not letting the tire move freely

Safty first,Can you safely jack the frount of the car chalk the rear tires and put the transmission in nuetal. Try to spin the wheel by hand. Then take the wheel off and checked your brakes? It could be be the brake pads or caliber locking up. Or as simple as a rock stuck in there. I hope this helps you.

Making a loud sound

could be that the clutch is bad or the brush roll needs to be removed, cleaned, ends removed and lubed. Try to spin the brush roll and see if it moves freely...if not, it needs to be cleaned and lubed at both ends. I fixed mine today by doing this...not an easy task to remove the brush roll, but it can be done:)

Usually a noisy blower motor is a bad bearing. The motors now have oil impregnated bearings and you can't oil them, you have to replace them.

I hear a loud ratteling noise coming from where

The rattle is likely a loose shield or a bad catalytic converter. As for the loud banging, Have you checked the front U-joints behind the brake rotors. As for the Reverse noise? Auto or stick shift?

Slow to spin and making a loud noise.

Control boards don't growl, the fry out and die. Sounds like a drive train problem to me. If it's a front load machine, the spindle/bearing assy. has gone to washer heaven. If it's a top load machine... could be the transmission, brake/clutch assy. or the tub bearings. In either case, if it's less than 5 years old, the drive system will be warrantied through the manufacturer. If you could provide a make and model number, I could narrow this down to a fine point.
