Our Kenmore whole-house console humidifier worked fine until I changed the filters for the first time; now, no matter what I do, only the right-hand bottle will drain into the humidifier; I've tried repositioning the filters, checking the plunger in the bottle (it works fine if I push it), looking for obstructions in the tank, etc. Can someone give me some advice on this?
-   same issue kinda ridiculous that the same problem has occured to several customers but yet kenmore still releases the same product. I emailed sears to see if there is anyway they can help me out. We will see what happens.....

-   I have the same problem. I put new filters and the little plunger caps on the bottom and still have the same problem. If anyone can figure this out please let me now. This floor unit cost over 300.00 dollars-   hopperbld
Ours worked great for the first year plus. Then the bottles quit emptying and it would stop working. We tried everything, thinking there was something wrong with the bottles. Then I read about shimming up the front, which makes it drain to the rear and keeps it running. I put drink coasters under the front wheels, and it works great now - no more problems after months of headaches! BTW, ours is on level floor with no carpet. It should not do this, but it is easy to fix (finally) if you know the secret.
I have a Kenmore console Humidifier and what happens is if the unit is on carpet the front wheels will sink more into the carpet than the rear wheels. This is because the water bottles are in the front. So the shim idea is most correct! Place the shims under the front wheels to shift the unit more to the rear. Kenmore even sells a cup that fits under the wheels to accomplish the same thing, so Sears is well aware of the problem.
I had the same problem What helped me is to put a small shim under the left front of the humidifier.
You could also try to put a washer on the RIGHT bottle's drain plug to lower it a little bit. I haven't tried this yet, I guess I am just too lazy....

I just read the reviews because I am considering buying it, and many owners complained of the same problem. Many people said they tried to fix the problems by leveling the machine, however, one guy said he figured it out: just level the machine slightly toward the REAR and it drains correctly. Try it. I hope he's right, because I'm going to take a chance on this machine and it better work well!!! :)
