Question about Tomtom GO 910 GPS Receiver
How do i reset my tomtom 910
The reset hole is hard to find... If you are looking at the back of the unit, it is in the upper right hand side of the liitle plastic protrusion at the top of the semi-circular opening above where you can see the exposed circuit board.

There is a reset button on the back at the top of the unit. It should be on the right side as you turn the unit around. Insert a paperclip or pin into this hole, and the unit should reset.

According to Kevin A who says (There is a reset button on the back at the top of the unit. It should be on the right side as you turn the unit around. Insert a paperclip or pin into this hole, and the unit should reset) at it works 100% because I tried this morning after being quoted £55 to have my GO910 fixed and now it works after the price of a paper clip. Pull the mount out that has the suction cup on which fits to the screen. At the top of inside you will see a small hole. put in a hair clip or something similar and this will reset the tomtom.

The reset thingy is in the same hole where you connect the window mount to your tomtom. It's kminda hard to see it.

Check your battery symbol.
On mine, the battery is dead (or mechanically disconneced inside).
You need to reset the unit by pressing the tiny button on the back.
Problem is that when you remove the unit from the charging stand, the dead battery does not allow you to press the reset button. (Pressing the reset button with no battery cannot reset the unit)
IF you could press the reset button while plugged into the charger, you could get you unit working again. But..alas, the design of the unit prohibits you from doing so.
Chances are if you fix the battery problem, you will have a usable unit again.

How long have you had this GPS? Also, is the power cord damaged at all? Even normal use can damage the ends on these cords sometimes. I would inspect it to see if it's damaged.
