Sounds like as the arm gets to the door the water pressure is enough to get past the seal. First clean both the main body and the door where they meet. Check the gasket to see if it may need to be replaced. Pay attention to where the leak is comming from. most dishwashers have 2 arms. IF that doesn't do it take a look at the latch assembly and make sure its closing the door tightly. With the door closed, does it feel securly closed?

Got a Kenmore Elite HE3t Front Load washer from my old man, hasn't been used in 5 years... sat in my basement for the first month i lived here unhooked and unused... FINALLY, got a dryer, hook everything...

A burst hose or a broken hose connector clamp most likely. Open the back after disconnecting power. Use bright flashlightto see where its dripping from and confirm the hose-clamp is brokem/ open or a connecting hose is burst. Carry broken hose to hardware store like Rona for a replacement tubing, cut to size and re-instal, voila!

Kitchenaid Icemaker leaking in big drips on front of freezer bins

Either the inlet valve is stuck or the icemaker solenoid is shored.

Most likely the second one.
