That is on my wish list as well. Hopefully Garmin would put that in a software update

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My gps freezes when on speedo

Okay. I have to explain what happens when you use the speedometer option. While it is off, the GPS use using less cycles per minute to get the location from the satellites and sometime from ground beacons. When in speedo mode, it now needs more processor, memory, graphics speed and the power needed for the receiver. Now the unit is running about twice the cycles per minute to provide an accurate location to judge your speed.
How to work around this.
Best answer: Dont use this option! Its simple and you dont have to burn your noodle worrying about it.
2. If you must use it, then go into your display and map options and turn the map details and quality down. This will free up memory and CPU speed.
3. Turn tracking off. This will free up memory and CPU speed.
4. Use Garmin's mapping program to only load necessary map locations. This will free up memory space.
5. Be sure you are updated to the latest map data and firmware.
6. This can also be caused by the location of the GPS in the vehicle. On the main screen of most Garmin's, you press and hold on the corner near the icon showing the GPS signal. It will go to a more detailed screen of the satellites and signal strength. Stay in one place in an open area like a parking lot. Let the GPS locate itself first. Then relocate it where you can easily see it and you see 40% of signal or more from 4 or more satellites.
Have fun with what I gave you and good luck. VicFixx

How to turn off service light ( picture of engine) have tried holding down brake pedal and speedo at same time..tried speedo down and turning on and off twice..still on?

Your car needs to be connected to a mechanic's service computer to turn off the service light. Most garages will do it for you for a minimal cost.

My friend used a jump pack on my toyota avensis 1.8 vvti now i have no indicators speedo and my abs and parking light is on please help

A surge when jump starting can damage electrical components. First check all the fuses, there may be some near the battery and also inside the car behind the dash. If the fuses are OK the instruments (speedo) module may be damaged, if you can find one cheap secondhand it might be worth changing to check ,or seek advice of an automotive electrician.

Garmin GPS 276c appears to download at random time intervals while driving my vehicle such as 19 seconds, 8 seconds, 8 seconds, 9 seconds,19 seconds. Is this normal for the default setting for this...

Sounds like you have the unit set on non road use and or sonar. Please go here and see what you need to do. This does require a lot of reading but without knowing exactly what the unit is set on this is the best I can do.
