There is 3 option hole in the back of hp pc.
pink-green-Blue
Green is for sound ,pink is microphone.and blue is for headphone
Connect woffer cable to Green hole of computer.
And connect speaker connector to woffer.Make sure cable connected properly to woofer.
Also go to control panel and sound property then make sure all sound speakers line enable and not muted.
Then check.
If still same issue then you need to open cpu cabinet cover then find motherboard then there is option for sound channel there is jumper settings for enable all channel of sound.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.

My Logitech X530..only the front -left speaker works. Thank you.

Sounds like you have not plugged it in correctly! Have you connected the 3 mini plugs from the speakers into the adapter and then the 2 phono leads into the other end of the adapter and then the 3.5mm headphone jack into your device?

Could you tell me what plug in ports i need for X540 or 530- on my desktop

You need three ports in order to use all the speakers 5.1 sound. They are all headphone jacks but they are front speakers, rear speakers, and sub/center

I purchased a new desktop PC with Windows 7, & I'm trying to find out what the correct connection is for the Logitech X-530 Speakers is. That is, can I get all the 5 speakers to work at the same time?

It depends on the sound-card in the PC.

The "back-left" and "back-right" speakers require special connections to the sound-card.
The "left" and "right" and "centre" speakers are connected to the "main-stereo-audio-out" on the sound-card, as per normal.

HOW TO HOOK UP ALL MY X-530 LOGITECH SPEAKER ON MY PC

You'll only be able to get true surround sound utilizing all the speakers if you have a sound card with multiple outputs (usually color coded as Green, Black, and Orange). Plug the satellite speakers into the subwoofer and run the three input wires (Green, Black, Orange) to your multi-source output.
If you only have one output on your PC (common), you should just connect the green wire and press the "matrix" button on the system. This will just duplicate the sound output into the other channels but is not "real" surround sound.
Hope that helps.

There are leads that need to be connected to your computer for the Front, Rear, and Subwoofer speakers Not all motherboards have all of these connections Your Logitech manual shows how to connect the speakers correctly if you do not have all of the connections on your motherboard

There should be a setting in your sound card, assuming it is a 5.1 surround card, that allows the card to split the signal from two input connections (normally the normal speaker input'green' and the mic input'pink')into the required 5.1 output.
