We have a Bizhub 211 - when we scan TO folder via FTP, we do receive the file from the bizhub but the bizhub hangs on ''Sending'', the only way to remove this is by rebooting the Bizhub. Any idea how to solve that problem?

with scan to Email on this machine you need a mail server that is local with ftp scanning you need IIS running on either XP Pro or server OS SMB Scanning can be done but only if you are using an eithernet connection which one of these do you want do to do

To scan to email, Administrator email address must be set in the machine (any bogus email address will work too).
Also, email server address must be input as IP address if DNS or WINS is not running in LAN.

Your configuration sharing SMB folder is incorrect. Create desktop folder rename all upper case SMB right click on the folder and click sharing and set full control to everyone. Go to web brouser type in the ip address of the printer log on to administrator password 8 zeros or 12345678 and change the setting.
