Your condensate pan sounds like what you said is rusty and leaking. You need a new pan. Can be a little pricey as this can't be done by home owner. Unless you are handy with tools. Get back to me if you need some idea's. ken

Have a Rheem central air unit situated outdoors, 20 yrs/old. The condensers are contained within it. I can run it 2 days straight, no problems. As soon as I turn it off, water winds up inside.

If the unit is freezing you will begin to see frost building up on the larger diameter copper. Also if you take the panel off of the evaporator coil (section that the copper is entering) you should be able to dump some water in the pan And make sure it is draining. Slowly pour the water.

My air handler is in the garage and the out side of the unit has started to condensate between doors and along the bottom of the doors.

The condensation is from air leaks or torn or missing insulation in the air handler cabinet. You can try replacing service panel seals and repair any damaged insulation. This should help but you probably will not be able to stop it completely.

There is water leaking out from the bottom of my furnace. It leaks whenever the ac is running.

Hello, sounds like a clogged condensate line or a faulty condensate pump if the unit has one. Cleaning the drain line should fix the problem.

I have a carrier air conditioner and the handler is leaking water all over the garage floor. What do I need to do?

You need to clean the drain. If you have a condensation pump it it still leaks after you clean the drain. It most likely needs replacing.

Is the unit level? it's pulling moisture out of the air and not draining threw the drain hole normally it's cause by the unit not being leveled.

Hi,my name is PK I have 5 tons Rheem air handling 10 year old. it is vertical type. How to fix the leak at evapolator coil. it leaked at the bottom right side. Can I use epoxy to seal this leak.Or replace...

Epoxy wont hold you need a new coil. about 8 to 12 hundred depending on your location. If it is 10 years old I would suggest you change the air handler. You will get a lot more efficient unit. Cost about 2200 but you will get a 10 year warranty from most manufacturers. Dont buy one unless you get a 10 year warranty. Russ

Rheem Air Handler will not run. This is a 2006 Rheem model RHLA-HM3617JA Air Handler. I replaced both the condenser and air handler circuit boards. I replaced the motor in the air handler.. The condenser...

Have you hard wired your fan motor to verify that the motor and or the capacitor are good? If you do a continuity test of the motor leads(with electricity off of course) you can see if the motor has open or grounded windings.
