Panasonic NV-Fj620 What's youThe turns it self off a few seconds after being swithched on. Display shows F 04. Please advise what the fault is.r problem?

This deck uses the K-Mechanism. Which you can find information by searching the web for it. F04 means the mechaism is locking up whilst it's unloading. The solution is to look at the Load Motor and the timing of the drive to it.

I have a VCR Panasonic NV - FJ623 and when I insert a video cassette into it for playback or recording purposes,it always ejects the video cassette. Can you help, please?

I'ts likely that the record sensor that pushes on the tab on the tape is bent or broken. Making the VCR think you are trying to record on to a protected tape.

I want to buy a manual for a panasonic video cassette recorder NV-FJ620. Can panasonic supply me with one?

Unfortunately, the VCR in question is discontinued, so it's unlikely that Panasonic will even still have a manual in print readily available. However, I did find an online manual. Go to the link below, and enter the "prove you're a person" numbers, and the link appears. The manual seems to be the actual manual and complete. You can always print it out if you would really like one in print.

I have acquired a Panasonic NV-FJ620B-S Video Cassette Recorder which has 2 x scart sockets on the back. 1 marked AV2 DECODER/DECODEUR(EX) the other AV1 (TV). The AV1 scart connector works fine on the TV...

Have just visited the Panasonic UK website and the User Manual for the Panasonic NV-FJ620B-S is available free. It lists on page 11 all the details. I'll e-mail it you Tom to see if it helps.

Dead Set

Could also mean a blown fuse in power supply. Fuse needs checking first if it keeps blowing then yes could be regulator, filter cap or rectifier diode fault

How do i plug this in

Try the Panasonic website for the user manual. A universal remote not a cheap one, should do the job.

Panasonic video recorder malfunction

It sounds like you need a service manual - it tells you how to remove stuck tapes etc.If you need a service manual for this model, which is helpful for checking things/disasembly/assembly, you can obtain a free one from:-

Nv fj630 can't power up

Had the same problem with my one. After a lot of time spent testing etc and finding no low volts of any value present and looking on the web, I found that Panasonic tend to use a similar design of power supply for a lot of models and there appears to be, after a number of years in use, a weak link in the design/use with the voltage regulator. For this model, the regulator generic part number is STRG 6352 and the Panasonic part no is C5HACZZ00002. In the UK it is available from:-
http:/www.chsinteractive.co.uk/electrical-components/misc/nvfj620b-c5haczz00002-ic-pana.htm
If you need a service manual for this model, which is helpful for checking things/disasembly/assembly, you can obtain a free one from:-
http://www.reptips.dk/Reptips/NV-FJ620.pdf
As a note the panasonic replacement from chs came with the pins bent correctly, so it fitted directly after I had cut the old one out.

Best of luck!
