Check printer msg and audible alarm sounds. If I unplug the fax and wait 30 seconds and plug it back in alarm stops and check printer display is gone

If its a ## error its a internal fault like the fuser or laser! If it the fuser just before it starts to print it will say check printer and stop!Take it to the nearest dealer and let them have a look at it!

Says check printer

If there is an error code with the 'check printer' then this would be more helpful. If the error code is ~ #323 then you have a laser unit fault- if it is #322 then you have a fuser unit issue. Both units are replaced as a unit.

Received in Memory

check the paper sensor at the bottom of where the paper comes out! this has a tendency to pop out of its little holder. Use a flashlight to see it! the sensor is blocking the beam.
